The French Air Force has ordered two new VIP transport jets. These are Airbus A319 Corporate Jets with 50 seats each. One will enter service in late 2001 and the other early in 2002. These two jets will replace five older and smaller planes used for official government and diplomatic flights.--Stephen V Cole
