Lockheed Martin has received a $119 million contract to build 66 new M270A1 multiple launch rocket vehicle systems for the US Army. These should be delivered in 2003-2004. The new A1 model of the MLRS has an improved fire control system. The company has also received a $65 million contract to build 100 ATACMS (Army Tactical Missile System) Block-1A missiles and their launch canisters.--Stephen V Cole
