On May 16th, Bulgarian police arrested four men for smuggling plutonium from Russia. The men had no plutonium with them, but the taxi they were traveling in had radiation levels 1,000 times above normal. It is feared that terrorists are seeking to buy plutonium to build weapons or to pollute water supplies.
