Despite a new Russian/U.S. task force set up last month to reduce theft of nuclear material in Russia, the "leakage" continues. On June 18th, police found 4.5 pounds of enriched (and highly radioactive) uranium in a car in Central Russia. Radioactive waste from a nuclear reactor was found a thousand kilometers east of the capital.
