The Pentagon is expanding SIPRNET (Secret Internet Protocol Router Network) to include the Adjutants General of all 54 states and territories. This $2 million project is intended to allow secure communications in the event of domestic terrorism, and to allow the senior National Guard commander in each state access to classified databases.
