In a recent interview with Tetu (the French magazine which claims to speak for the gay/lesbian community), French Army General Alain Raevel said that the French military would welcome homosexual enlistees so long as they did not openly declare their orientation. The switch to an all volunteer military is making the French scramble for thousands of recruits.-Stephen V Cole
