The US has handed over 14 UH60 Blackhawk helicopters to Colombia for use in the drug war. As the drug crops are protected by the rebels, this does amount to supporting the Colombian government against the rebels. (Or, as the rebels see it, supporting one faction in a civil war.)--Stephen V Cole
