Another update on the French-Angolan arms scandal. Investigating French magistrates indicate that former French Gaullist interior minister Charles Pasqua is implicated in the scandal. A French source reported that the magistrates are examining the Association France Afrique Orient (AFAO). Pasqua was at one time vice president of AFAO. Open sources say that in 1996 AFAO received 1.5 million francs from Brenco, an arms supplier.
