This was the first time that Turkish fighters had landed at a Greek airbase in 28 years. Greek fighters will go to Turkey this fall for the Distant Glory NATO wargames. As a gesture of good will, Turkey reduced the size of its annual Sea Wolf and Ephessus wargames (a constant annoyance to the Greeks) held on 8-9 June.--Stephen V Cole
