Three ethnic Kosovar Albanians were handed over to The Hagues war crimes tribunal (ICTY) for war crimes prosecution. Haradin Balaj, Isak Musliu, and Agim Murtezi are accused of war crimes committed during the 1999 Kosovo War. All three fought in guerrilla units. A fourth Kosovar Albanian has also been indicted but he has eluded capture. Interestingly, the men are accused of harming and mistreating both Serbs and Albanians.
