Attempts to get Slavs and Albanians in Macedonia to agree to a peaceful union are in doubt. Many of the Albanians want to join with the Albanian majority in neighboring Albania. Moreover, Albanians throughout the region are keen on establishing a "Greater Albania," that would include Albania, Kosovo and parts of Serbia, Macedonia and Greece.
