In Kashmir, a Hindu temple was attacked by Moslem rebels, leaving ten dead and 20 wounded. The Kashmir rebels are largely Islamic radicals who also wish to drive all non-Moslems from Kashmir. Firing across the Line of Control in Kashmir left one Pakistani civilian dead. In the Punjab region of Pakistan, two Shiite mosque officials were murdered in what was apparently another act of religious violence.
