Firing across the Line of Control in Kashmir left two Pakistani civilians wounded. In Kashmir, rebel activity left nine rebels, including two senior leaders of Lashkar-e-Taiba and two civilians dead. In Pakistan, police made more raids (in the city of Lahore) and arrested 16 suspected al Qaeda members. All the raids to date have been in urban areas. It is not known how many al Qaeda members are hiding in the countryside and if raids are planned there. So far, these raids have snagged 60 people, including 25 Arabs and four Afghans.
