The Pakistani army again demanded that foreign (Uzbeks, Chechens, Arabs and others) gunmen living in the tribal areas along the Afghan border surrender. The government is offering amnesty, and a guarantee that those that surrender will not be transported to another nation (that is, home countries where they may be wanted for serious crimes.) So far, these foreign Islamic radicals have kept moving out of the way of the army search parties and combat patrols. Osama bin Laden and his crew have completely disappeared from the radar, for the moment. He's  out there somewhere along the border, and the army is not happy with being frustrated by the tribesmen.
