Along the Afghan border, the army has been allowing American artillery to fire into Pakistan at terrorists and Taliban operating there. Army artillery spotters provide adjustments to the American gunners. Terrorists and Taliban have been moving back and forth across the border to evade Afghan and Pakistani troops. But greater cooperation between the Afghan, Pakistani and American army troops has largely eliminated that tactic.
