By the end of this year, both India and Pakistan will have produced sufficient nuclear material to create up to a hundred nuclear weapons each. This is worrisome in Pakistan, with so many Islamic extremists running around in the military and government. Pakistan says it stores its nukes with the nuclear cores of the weapons removed from the weapons. This makes it more difficult for nuclear weapons to be stolen, although it does not require a lot of technical skill to put the nuclear material into the weapons.
