Police believe that Jemaah Islamiyah has about forty members still operating as active terrorists. The police have been very active in searching for Abu Sayyaf members, and public outcry over terrorist violence has mobilized the population to report anything suspicious. The Jemaah Islamiyah members are all foreigners, and tend to stand out. The MILF has been given a list of terrorists believed to be operating in MILF territory.
