The Italian Catholic news agency MISNA reported on 15 November that the toll from the 25 - 31 October coup attempt in the Central African Republic was over 100 dead and 300 wounded. However, this estimate was based on interviews conducted in most of Bangui's health facilities and CAR officials have not confirmed this figure. Some hospitals and assistance centers have not yet provided numbers of dead and wounded, while many families rapidly buried their dead without reporting anything to health officials.

As part of the Libreville Accord signed on 02 October, the Libyan troop detachment left Bangui on 14 November. Meanwhile, the UN remains concerned about the safety of refugees and residents north of the capital. Food supplies are a particular concern, since war profiteering has driven up the prices of locally-grown foodstuffs. - Adam Geibel
