Merry Christmas from Washington. A US delegation arrived in Khartoum to investigate the problems of slavery in the Sudan. The Sudanese government immediately issued a statement that said "We are sure that slavery is not practiced in Sudan." The Sudanese government is dead wrong, for the evidence of slaving and forced abductions is overwhelming.
