The final tabulation on the Croatian election puts the opposition coalition alliance with 96 of the 151 parliamentary seats. The two main parties of the six-party alliance, the Social democratic Party (SDP) and the Croatian Social Liberal Party (HSL) have at least temporarily combined to form the SDP-HSL, meaning a new center-left party may well emerge from the winning coalition.
