Six students at Qinghua university were convicted and jailed for opposing the government crackdown on Falungong. The students had conducted their protest on the Internet. Another 300 students at the university have been arrested for supporting Falungong. This kind of support worries the government, as students have historically been the leaders of  major protest movements (including the one that originally brought the communists to power.).
