The government announced that Britain and America have agreed to provide military aid for the fight against the rebels. The aid wound consist of weapons, communications gear, trucks and helicopters. In several incidents, two rebels and two civilians were killed. One of the civilians was a leader of one of Nepal's communist party factions that oppose the Maoist rebels (who was murdered by the rebels).
